Hello! We are the Falls Fins

Our neighborhood Falls Fins swim team is part of the Atlanta Swim Association (ASA) swim league, a grassroots program for kids of all skill levels, ages 4 - 18yr.

As a recreational swim team, our goal is to provide swimmers with just the right amount of friendly competition combined with plenty of team spirit and fun. The Fins coaches work with swimmers to improve skills, technique, speed, and endurance in the four competitive strokes.

• Swimmers 6 & Under are required to independently "swim" 1/2 of the 25yd pool length.
• Swimmers 7 & Up are required to independently "swim" (back or front) the 25 yards of the pool unassisted.

After-school practices are held Monday - Friday starting in early May. Morning practices begin once school is out and run through the end of June. Swimmers participate in Thursday night meets against neighboring swim teams followed by "Fun Friday" with ribbons, awards, and donuts. The season ends with a celebration and a Championship Meet at Georgia Tech.

Whether just starting or returning as a Fins veteran, participating on a recreational swim team is a chance to experience the benefits of a lifelong sport while building memories full of good friends, teamwork, and sunny summer days at the pool.

Bring a buddy, swimmers from outside the neighborhood are always welcome.

Other than our coaches, the team is 100% volunteer-based. Summer league swimming is a "family" sport, parents are an integral part of the success of the team as they volunteer, lead, and run the organization. With so many volunteer opportunities to choose from, everyone plays an important role and has a great time.
